DUTIES (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY):
Plans and directs the division by establishing goals to identify the office's strategic priorities; develops and executes divisional plans and programs to lead to the priorities; develops and executes divisional plans and programs to lead to the achievement of division goals and objectives and ultimately the office of SBOC's mandates; participates in developing national macroeconomic policies and strategies, representing economic development issues and balancing the nation's needs with economic development issues and balancing the nation's needs with economic development practives; update the FSM Strategic Development Plan by monitoring and evaluating the global and domestic social and economic trends and assess the impact of this macroeconomic policies and goals; monitors and evaluates FSM Government's progress toward the achievement of stated goals and objectives in the SDP, and reports performance to the Director; coordinates budget activities in the state governments/agencies and render technical assistance to the states required; direct and coordinates with appropriate agenceis and authorities on the accurate adn prompt preparation of quarterly and other allotments; performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Public Administration, international relations, economics, business management, finance or related field plus five (5) years of professional experience in budget, economic, two (2) years must have been in supervisory capacity and must possess working knowledge of the government system.
