DUTIES (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY):
Senior attorney legal work; including civil and criminal litigation; research and writing on complex legal and constitutional issues; preparation of formal and informal Attorney General opinions; provides legal counsel to Department and Offices heads of the Executive Branch of the National Government as well as boards; commissions and task forces of the National Government; drafts proposed bills and resolutions; testifies at congressional hearings; reviews passed legislation's for constitutional and legal sufficiency; prvides technical assistance to and coordinates to the work of lower level attorneys and para-legal personnel; performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Level I - Graduation from a school of law; admission to the bar of any jurisdiction.

Level II - Graduation from an accredited school of law; admission to the US, FSM Bar plus two (2) years of professional experience in the practice of law.

Level III - Graduation from an accredited school of law; admission to the US, FSM Bar plus four (4) years of professional experience in the practice of law.

Level IV - Graduation from an accredited school of law; admission to the US, FSM Bar plus six (6) years of professional experience in the practice of law.
