MORE NON-STOP SERVICE INTRODUCED TO CONNECT FSM AND RMI WITH THE PHILIPPINES
(“United Continental Holdings, Inc.”) - GUAM, Dec. 29, 2010 – Continental Airlines announced four additional round-trip flights between Chuuk International Airport (TKK) and Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL), beginning in March and lasting through July 2011.

Continental operated its first non-stop service between Chuuk and Manila on December 7 this year which was well accepted by customers in both Chuuk and Manila. As a result, , Continental decided to add new non-stop service on the route for 2011, with flights scheduled to operate on March 24, April 7, June 30, and July 28, 2011 to and from Chuuk and Manila.

Matt Miller, Continental’s managing director for Asia-Pacific said, “I am delighted to add four non-stop flights between Chuuk and Manila based on the success of our introductory service on the route earlier this month. We will continue to listen to customers in the region and will plan to add more services if we continue to see sufficient demand on the route. This new service is another strong example of Continental’s continued commitment to the region.”

The new service continues to improve access for customers across Micronesia who travel to and from Manila, enabling passengers to avoid the need for a US visa while transiting Guam. This flight is also being offered in response to frequent requests from both the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federated States of Micronesia for easier travel to Manila.
